SIMPLICITY
Keep it simple!
As a church we want to spend our efforts and attention on what matters most and reduce distractions, all while reflecting good stewardship of our time and resources. We value simple things because they keep us focused and allow us to grow.
FAMILY
Family matters.
Our hearts are set on helping families become who God designed them to be. Whole and healthy. As a church we support and encourage families and we devote time to equipping families to pray together and grow in faith.
COMMUNITY
Better together!
Everything is better in community. Relationships are very valuable to Common Ground and we can’t imagine going about life without the encouragement of others. Weekly circles strengthen us as we face the ups and downs of life.
GENEROSITY
Joyful giving.
As a church we allocate 25% of all of our budget to missions in Katy and around the world! It is with a joyful heart that we invest in generous giving. But more than money we want to be extravagantly generous with our calendars.
OUTREACH
Power of testimony. We love equipping our people with ways of sharing the reason for their hope. The hope they found in Christ. We intentionally look for ways to share our own transformation stories and the power of our testimonies.
PRAYER
Just pray.
It sounds simple because, in essence, it is. We love talking with God and spending time with Him in prayer. Prayer is home for our souls. And when the church prays together, you get a little glimpse of what heaven looks like on earth.
